Its good to see what $20.1 billion get you now a days, Google co-founder and bachelor billionaire Larry Page knows very well. It would kill me if I were this ugly and knowing a girl is way out of my league if it was not for my money. When people see a hot woman with a less than average man they wonder, in Larry Page's case there is no need to wonder. She is not with him for his good looks and i am going to guess that she is not a techie, so she is not with him for good conversation.

Silicon Valley's richest bachelor is getting married next month.

Google co-founder Larry Page, whose stake in the Internet search leader is worth about $20 billion, and Lucy Southworth are tying the knot in a ceremony scheduled for the weekend of Dec. 8, according to a report published Tuesday in the San Francisco Chronicle.

Page, 34, is following in the footsteps of Google's other founder, Sergey Brin, who married Anne Wojcicki six months ago in an exclusive ceremony in the Caribbean. The location of Southworth's and Page's wedding was not disclosed.

After Brin's wedding, Mountain View-based Google invested $3.9 million in Wojcicki's biotechnology start-up, 23andMe.

Southworth was a biomedical informatics doctoral student at Stanford University, where both Page and Brin were studying as graduate students before leaving to start Google in 1998. Page has been dating Southworth for more than a year.

San Francisco Chronicle has more details on the upcoming wedding of Google founder Larry Page and his girlfriend Lucy Southworth. The Chronicle confirms that it will be happening the weekend of December 8, but they can’t seem to find the location. As we told you earlier this month, it’s taking place on Necker Island, the Caribbean hideaway owned by Virgin billionaire Richard Branson. Branson, naturally, is expected to attend the event, along with San Francisco god-mayor Gavin Newsom and “many current and former Google employees” (Perhaps ex-girlfriend Marissa Mayer?). One person, though, is skipping the bash.

That’s former U.S. Vice President and current Google “senior advisor”Al Gore, who has a previous engagement in Oslo, Norway that weekend — he’s receiving the Nobel Peace Prize. (”Larry Page allowed that, on the list of excuses, that was acceptable,” Gore told the Chronicle.) Gore is hoping to attend via video conferencing destroying any pretense of this being a high-society soirée –Necker’s going to be Nerd Island for the weekend.

A bit of history

Lucy's been outed. The lady who won Larry Page's heart was named by the New York Post as "Lucy Southworth." Sez the Post, the bright young Stanford student has degrees from the the University of Pennsylvania and Oxford. She's done medical work in South Africa and "wants to better the world."

But there's a tidbit that somehow didn't make it into the Post -- the Southworth family is connected to the Bushes. In 2005, Lucy's sister Carrie married high into Bush staff. Her husband (Coddy Johnson) worked as the national field director for Bush's 2004 campaign. It's not a new family connection -- Coddy's dad roomed with Bush at Yale.

Man, if Page is as liberal as he seems, that's gotta be one awkward Thanksgiving dinner.

Update: Thanks to the readers who sent in photos. Of COURSE the Post went all paparazzi. Full-page shot after the jump. Granted, she looks much cuter when posing.
